A photo of a ballpoint kitchen sketch went in. Out came a measured drawing set, a redline punch list for the carpenter, and eight decisions for Kostas — every finding stress-tested by agents instructed to kill it.
The brief asked for collusion detection: no cabinets are colluding. Six collide.
The sketch, as read

- Run 1 · wash
A tall unit (unlabelled — fridge?), then four base cabinets: 60 drawers marked cutlery · 80 sink base with garbage below · 60 dishwasher · 40 drawers. Above: a small two-shelf upper, a plate drip-rack over the sink (the classic πιατοθήκη), and a cupboard for cups & glasses.
- Run 2 · prep
Three drawer stacks — 40 · 80 · 40 — marked cutlery, pots, pans, utensils, then a shallow double-door cupboard. On its worktop, ticked as decided: boiler (kettle) and toaster. The word “shallow” above them is crossed out.
- Pantry
A tall two-door unit, width marked “80 or 100” — undecided. One arrow says pantry, the other appliances not in use, followed by a crossed-out word in parentheses we could not decipher.
- Not drawn
Hob, oven, extractor hood, microwave, an explicit fridge, the room itself — walls, windows, doors, aisle widths — and every socket. The audit treats each absence as a finding, not a footnote.

The question the sketch never answers
plan · not to scaleThe page never says how the two runs sit in the room — and every clearance check hangs on it. This is decision D-1.
Galley. Best fit for two runs of this length — if the aisle clears 120 cm with the dishwasher door down.
L-shape. Possible — but the corner eats a cabinet and needs a filler; the sketch allocates neither.
Single wall. Needs ~6.6 m of unbroken wall. If Kostas had that wall, he’d probably have drawn it.

Worth doing while it’s still ink
no new questions- Run 2’s uppers don’t exist yet — decide them with the hood, and recount storage before sizing the pantry.
- Swap run 2’s 40/80/40 for 80 + 80: the same 160 cm, but four narrow drawers become four that actually take pots and trays.
- Site the pantry at the fridge end of run 1 — fridge → pantry → landing → sink, one stop.
- Two task lights on the services drawing: an IP-rated point above the dripping πιατοθήκη, a wall or ceiling point over run 2.
How it was made
methodThe photo was transcribed verbatim — crossed-out words included — and redrawn at 1:25 on EU 60 cm modules. Five design lenses (geometry, ergonomics, services, storage, unknowns) plus a completeness critic raised 44 findings; every one went to an adversarial reviewer instructed to refute it. 11 died there — among them “the bin fights the P-trap” (a bin in the sink base is the EU default), “the drip rack rains on the worktop” (it critiqued a proposed fix, not the sketch), and “the dishwasher is on the wrong side” (its own recommendation was keep it as drawn).
The first run audited nothing at all: a plumbing bug fed the agents an empty spec, and they refused to invent a kitchen. 51 agents, 18 minutes — and the only questions left are the ones that were always Kostas’s.
